Honours Question

<p>I’ll warn you now this question may not make sense.</p>

<p>And I’m tisch, acting, fall 06 just to clarify.</p>

<p>Here in the UK every degree it is a BA (Hons) in whatever. And if you get the highest band of grade (a first, which is 1-1, 1-2 or 2-1) you can add the Hons to your degree title.</p>

<p>The Tisch degree I’ll be studying for is a BFA in Drama. I read that you can take an Honours program in Theatre Studies. Would this make it a BFA Hons in Drama? Is it possible to have such a thing?</p>

<p>Yes. Tisch awards Departmental Honors but not Latin Honors (cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude). The requirement for drama is a 3.5 cum GPA and for the Theater Program the top 10% of the graduating class.</p>
