Somebody said it can be geographical. I was born and raised in Brazil. Moved to CT when i was 5. Can speak portuguese. Know the culture. All the admissions officers seemed indifferent when hearing it. Will this help me?
Another thing somebody said was that the school wants foreigners from places that not many kids are from. The only school i know has a brazilian is Exeter. Any others?</p></li>
<li><p>Every time i enter a new screen on CC, my profile is deleted. I will sign in on the main screen but when i click on a thread, i sign out. Every time i start a thread, reply to a post, check my mail, etc. I have to sign in again. Is this happening with anybody else? Does anybody know how to fix it? (i tried clicking on the remember me button)</p></li>

<p>Mcskittlz - that was happening to me the other day as well. I was on another network (not at home but using my laptop hooked into a public wireless network) so I blamed it on that. I have no idea if that was why or not. Every once in a while I’ll get logged out when trying to post.</p>
<p>While I agree that you probably won’t be seen as international (which can honestly be good and bad) I’m surprised the admissions officers weren’t interested in it. I would definately make it known in your application. While it may not be a *traditional *hook, it does make you more unique. Are you a US citizen?</p>
<p>I think it certainly can’t hurt you. Make sure that you emphazise it in your application, it makes you unique - gives you somehting that the rest of the 90+% kids from CT might not have.</p>
