Hope didnt transfer to Oxford at Emory

When applying to Oxford at Emory I already submitted my HOPE application and so I didn’t put oxford at Emory, simply Emory. Now on my oxford fin aid package it doesnt have HOPE included. How can I fix this? Can I reapply for HOPE and add Oxy? thanks

hmm… they changed the requirement to 3.7 uw… do you qualify for HOPE?
also, when you apply for fafsa, you are automatically applying for HOPE, so when you sent the fafsa to Emory University, it should have sent it to both of them. I would just email the oxford financial aid people and ask. you can only apply for hope once a year I think

Yea i have a 4.0 UW gpa so I qualify tech applied it, but oxy just says estimated total grant award, no Hope included. (it says loans too). So email them?

I would definitely email them.

I don’t see how this could be a big deal. If you’re a high school senior, HOPE hasn’t been approved yet. This happens during the summer, after the final HS transcript comes in. You’ll have to update HOPE once you select a college to send it to. Check with the Georgia Student Finance Authority to see about changing the recipient on your application. I can’t imagine more than one school being approved–not like SATs, can’t send it everywhere!

wait, I already have my aid package and I got $3600 from HOPE… what do you mean I have to update my application?

I was at Oxford today for a tour and info session. The director of admissions said that, based on their student profiles, the college “assumes” that its students will qualify for HOPE.
I don’t know about applying for HOPE through FAFSA. It may be that you’re good to go. I don’t think we did that, and I was told by GeorgiaCollege411 we will have to apply later. In any case, HOPE isn’t actually verified until the summer, and no high school senior has HOPE yet.
