I’m currently an in-state Rutgers University Business School sophomore. By semester, with increasing workloads, my GPA’s have been 2.81, 3.03, 3.70, good for a cumulative of 3.19.

I took the SATs three times in high school, never really preparing strenuously, maxing out at a 2020 with 710 math, 650 reading, 660 writing with a 10 on the essay. I feel as though if I took them again, I’d increase my score in all three, but I’ve read conflicting reports on whether retaking the SATs will even do anything or not.

I finished HS with a 3.5 GPA, only 2 AP’s, but I did spend four years on the baseball team.

Throughout my first three semesters at Rutgers, I’ve slacked off, I haven’t done any extra-curriculars because I didn’t think I would want to transfer, especially to a school like UNC. Rutgers is a fine school, especially the Business School, but I’m ready for bigger and better things. I know I’d be able to succeed at Chapel Hill, but I know it will be tough to convince them of this. What can I do between now and June 1st to make my transfer application look that much better?
