Hopeful medical student

<p>I recently was accepted to the University of South Florida and the honors college and I hope to be accepted into the 7-year med program. I have also been accepted to west chester universitites pre-medical program. Do any current students or people who know the colleges have suggestions as to which program is better? I got a better vibe from USF and the atmosphere there, but its far from home (I’m from PA). </p>

<p>Any advice on which college to choose, or just opinions of the college would be helpful. Thanks!</p>

<p>I lived outside Philadelphia in Chester county for a while. I did not have a particularly good impression of WCU. I don’t know USF, but West Chester is a ways from the Philadelphia medical center; the closest hospital may be in Phoenixville. In any case, you’d have a sizable commute on your hands which would make it difficult to do any volunteer work. That said, I do love West Chester the town; great little place to live.</p>
