<p>How do bands(e.g linkin park) get paid? </p>

<p>This is for an project that is due tomorrow and I’m stumped. Help?</p>

<p>they get paid a percentage from their albums but mostly from merchandise and concert sales. they do NOT get paid from their song being on the radio, the label and songwriter get the royalties. Hope that helps some.</p>

<p>Look up ASCSAP. They are in charge of distributing royalties. Every time a song is played, they get some money out of it.</p>
