Hopeless Romantic

Anyone here a hopeless romantic? What is it anyways? I’ve heard of it, but don’t know the actual definition of it…

Urban Dictionary is your friend.

And I’m definitely not a hopeless romantic. I’m probably the opposite.

I try to be, otherwise I’m a total cynic.

I wish I could be a hopeless romantic. But i’m too sarcastic and a realist.

yea. same here.
:/

Jay Gatsby

I have a “hopeless romantic” personality and an “epic skeptic” (I coined that just now) personality that often clash.

Epic skeptic. Do you mind if I use that in my creative writing class?

No, not at all, as long as if you win any substantial awards or profits using the term I get a percentage of the profits proportional to the number of times the phrase was used in the work.

We’ll discuss that when it happens.

^^^ haha, nice way to try to copyright the English language buddy ;]
Not really. I mean, I have moments - periods of time - that I’m delusional, I suppose. Otherwise, I’m a bit on the ironic/skeptical/realist side…but all in moderation.

Sometimes…

Is there anything wrong with being a “hopeless romantic”?

Yes. Hopeless romantics are hopelessly annoying.

Very much a hopeless romantic.

hahaha!! jbvirtuoso’s comment: “Hopeless romantics are hopelessly annoying” is hilarious and true!

Not necessarily! I am definitely a hopeless romantic. Like I can be really sarcastic, but deep down I’m an idealist.

I guess I am, but I don’t show it.
