<p>So i hear the people there are nutty. Like hyper grade conscious/cut throat. Dosnt sound like a good place from what people have been telling me. Does anyone know anything about this?</p>
<p>Any school that has a lot of kids who need high grades to get to the next step has a bit of this. It’s the premed culture more than anything else, in my opinion. Non prememds don’t seem to feel that way at Hopkins, but when you have many kids in that mindset, it does effect the atmosphere. Visit and see for yourself.</p>
<p>It’s lacrosse team has a good reputation, even though they lost to Syracuse today for the national championship.</p>
<p>I’m quite relieved they beat Dook on Saturday.</p>

I’d say that description’s pretty true compared to similarly ranked universities.</p>
<p>but like ive heard stories about people leaving laptops/ipods/precious jewelry in the library along with their notes and coming back to find all that expensive stuff there but their notes gone…</p>
