Holy crap, you’re definitely getting in. You had a connection for a year and a half, and colleges love to see interest. Other than that, your stats meet the applicant pool for Hopkins, and I think you would be a great fit there fro mwhat yout say. Your extracirriculars also demonstrate interest in your field. I hope you get in and I will bet my life (not really) that you will get in. Welcome to the Derrrrrrrrty South!

r u from midwest or like new jersey-new york (east coast) areA?

I’m from the Philadelphia area. How much does the region matter?

oh cause i posted a link before that states the early apps from the most common states. i think geographic distribution has something to do with admissions ???

o probably but wat do u think my chances are based on my stats,

also javis if u r there please give ur input i would appreciate it

Someone tell me…

bump…anybody on a scale from 1 to 10 10 being the highest

Luckysharm, you are above the average SAT1 and your courseload and grades are looking good. And Hopkins gives Ed apps a nice boost. Just make sure you do have some other schools as backups as well because Hopkins premeds tend to be the ones that are at the top of their game which may put you more in the midstream rather than top of the pack in that applicant pool. You can have a shredding party if you don’t need the apps but you really do not want to be working on them during break and have to scamper to get the supplemental paperwork out as well.

Lucky- Just from a quick reading of your post, you seem pretty set. What will set you apart from many other applicants is your ability to make your personality shine through, even on your resume.
Best of luck to both of us - I hope we can be classmates next year!

anyone else?

anyone else?

You have a good chance. I can say no more than what has already been said. Hopkins would be glad to have you.

I think you will definitely get in. You should stop worrying so much.
