Anyone know how competitive this is? S just got accepted. He also applied to Penn which accepts only 25%. Will need to accept Hopkins before he hears from Penn. Wondering if Hopkins program is one of those that most are accepted or is it more prestigious? Anyone attend either program?
My son was in the same situation. Accepted to residential hopkins engineering innovations early action but waiting to hear from Penn Summer Chemistry Academy. We decided to accept hopkins because he thinks he wants to major in engineering in college and I am hoping this program can help him decide. We didn’t look at prestige, more about what he can get out of the program. He loves chemistry but most colleges have chemistry. Not all have engineering so if he rules out engineering, will change the college search process.
