I’m hoping for my ec’s to pull my weight in the admissions process due to low test scores… but i’m not sure if my ec’s are that strong either.

Thanks in advance…

anyone mind rating my chance please? i’d really appreciate anyone’s help…

Your test scores are average for Duke. I think they would like what you have done with your ECs. You stand a fair chance, and your just as good of a position as anybody.

wow… i thought i was a goner! u think it would be more advantageous for me to declare undecided major or a bme major?

i’m not sure if it really matters. Duke does enjoy to have more bme’s though!

haha i guess i’ll declare it then…

thanks cameron!

can anyone else help me out?

kitman-
As a whole, you appear to be a strong candidate. Your academic performance in a top school and your interesting array of extracurricular activities are impressive. The only thing that might hurt you is your SAT score (1350), which is 100 points below the bottom 25% of accepted students to Pratt (1450-1550). However, I would definitely still apply and if BME is what you desire I would not try to manipulate the admissions process to your advantage, as adcoms will see through it. Good luck.
