<p>So, I get my big super awesome packet for Pomona (yayy!!), and I started reading the letter to my mom. It was great. It got boring, so i flipped to the bottom of the page and there was a handwritten note at the bottom. Cute! I thought! Pomona is so darn personal…love these guys!!! And then I read it…</p>
<p>“Well Done. Do hang in there in AP Calc BC!!!”</p>
<p>Low blow (it’s my worst subject, and they know it lol), but I guess they meant well. Oh Pomona.</p>
<p>that’s pretty funny. I wouldn’t mind if they did that :P</p>

<p>AWW!! Wait, those notes were Personal?! That’s so sweet of them!!! I got one that said “Well Done!”, but my dad told me it was just like a stamp or something and let my hopes down.</p>
<p>I didn’t get anything written on mine, except for “warmest congratulations!” underlined :O</p>

<p>My little note says “I hope we will get to see some of your ski movies!” because I wrote one of my essays about that. I love the “do hang in there” one though, that’s really funny!</p>
<p>All of those notes are handwritten, including underlining the “congratulations.” I was at a reception where Bruce Poch, Dean of Admissions, took the very pen out of his pocket!</p>

<p>Mines said “Your talents and values will serve you well at Pomona” in a messy blue ink.</p>
<p>Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool. Mine said “Your enthusiasm for learning will serve you well! It’s a pleasure to have you join us at Pomona”</p>
