Let me get straight to my question. What HOSA events are easy to place in? I don’t want to portray myself as lazy or trying to find the easy way out, but I have participating in HOSA for a couple of years now and have not seen much success while others who do not try as hard do. I realize that some events are not as competitive or difficult as others and wanted to see if anyone had recommendations for events that are not as competitive or difficult as others.
I competed in MRC (medical reserve corps) my junior and senior year of high school. It’s really easy and simple if you know what youre doing and have a strong group. You basically just volunteer with MRC, make a portfolio and prepare for a presentation and interview. Might sound like a lot but youre allowed to work in 5 or 6(??) max ppl groups. We placed 4th junior year and then made it to the top 10 at nationals my senior year.
