Hospitalized night before SAT 2's, scores very low

Basically the night before my SAT 2 tests (Physics and math 2) I was hospitalized for some kidney stones. I’m fine now, but at the time it was really weird because I’m so young so I was up till about 4 am on morphine for the pain while they ran tests and it was all figured out and done with around 5 am, still kind of feeling the morphine.

Against the doctors wishes, I convinced my parents to discharge me so they could pretty much drive me straight to the test center for the sat2’s. Between the morphine and the fact that I almost passed out during my second test, I did not do very well .

Math 660 and physics 620.

Otherwise my stats are pretty strong, 3.9 UW gpa and 34 act, so should I send these scores? Some schools require it, so do you think that I can make a note somewhere in the application? Also how would I let schools like the UCs know about the situation surrounding my scores if I have already submitted?

Most applications allow an “additional comments” section somewhere. And for the UC’s i’d recommend you call their office and ask.

Contact the admissions office to inform them… and you should inform the schools you are applying to. Sending the scores is up to you, but obviously you must if the school requires/doesn’t participate in score choice for SAT IIs.

Some schools also allow a January SAT test date, which you could use to retake the tests if you so choose.

Some schools?..But not UCs bro…
