Hii ~ I am accepted into Taft, nmh and a few more, WL at Hotchkiss and some other schools I’m not that committed to. Any advice/sucessful cases on moving off the waitlist for Hotchkiss? Hotchkiss is my dream school, and I am willing to fight really hard a place inside. I live in Tokyo currently, but am not Japanese (international applicant).
Read the waitlist threads. There really isn’t anything you can do, other than sending a letter of continuing interest (in which you say you will definitely attend if admitted from the waitlist as Hotchkiss is your #1 choice). From there, it’s a matter of luck.

Thank you so much for replying! I listened to some lecture by korean and chinese consultant companies and they said it is nearly impossible for international applicants to move off waitlist for top10 schools. I am just wondering and considering the viability of this plan
