<p>EC–Global Educational tour of French-Speaking Nations, Secretary(11) and then President (12) of the school orchestra, NYSSMA Solos and Majors and All-county every year for chorus or orchestra since 5th grade, performed in quartet at charity events for community service for organizations like Hospice and hospitals, was the musical director for a 5th grade musical where all proceeds went to the American Cancer Society, won the historical essay contest thing my county does, and am currently involved in the nationally recognized “Senior Project.” I decided to organize and implement a large charity banquet (about 100 attending) for the American Heart Association (Projected profits are $7500)… I’ve collaborated with some chefs from the Culinary Institute of America to assist me and have put together a group of over 10 student chefs to cater my event. It’s actually a lot of fun and I got to talk to my interviewer about it for a while… He asked me to e-mail and update him on my progress… It was a pretty sweet interview.</p>
<p>Work Experience-- I worked at 2 restaurants, a law firm (as a receptionist and greeter), and currently am working in a music store giving private music lessons</p>

Recs were great… one of them was from my Principal who is an alum and the other from my AP English teacher
