I’ve heard several ppl say that the hotel school does not focus on SAT scores as much as the other schools. Does this mean that even those who have a SAT score of 1800s or 1900s have a certain amount of chances too. And also, if not alot of ppl in my country/region do not apply for the hotel school, does that mean i have more chances of getting in (to rephrase my question, does the amount of ppl who apply to the same school effect the chance of a person being accepted).

the school doesnt look at SAT QUITE as much as the others simply because they really want those with experience…if you have a lot of experience in the industry and good but not GREAT SATs, you still stand a good shot.

your second question…i am not sure. id like to know as well

I am currently a freshman in the hotel school and my SAT scores weren’t great (1960) and 750 on the math 1 SAT 2. Really, they are looking for your drive and commitment to the industry.

I am not sure 100% of the answer to your second question but I cannot imagine that the number of kids who apply to the hotel school makes a difference on your application.

thank you everyone :)
