Hotel School Rolling Silence

<p>Since they said rolling would begin mid-February and no one has apparently received a rolling decision yet, one must wonder if there is a reason why this year is different.</p>

<p>I wonder if they are waiting until they first review the applications of those who were rejected by their primary Cornell school choice but the indicated Hotel School as their alternate choice. Maybe they will admit some of those with exceptional stats to raise the Hotel School stat averages, even if those applicants showed no particular passion, interest, or experience in hospitality.</p>

<p>I sincerely hope that is not the case, since it would be pretty hypocritical.</p>

<p>given how small the program is, they would have to accept several people with perfect stats to let in, and most likely, those people with perfect stats would have gotten in to their top choice school. the people who put hotel as #2 probably have average stats, and no hospitality background, etc, and would not be admitted.</p>
