I THINK being from somewhere not in the mid-atlantic states or new england is helpful. There are probably a few exceptions, but it IS diversity that they want!

So should I apply ED? My stats are not that good.

I am thinking about getting a job and maybe doing a summer session at Cornell to get to know the professors better and hopefully they can give me a recomendation letter. Do you guys think I should do this?

Post stats?

like around 1780 sat…top 10%

would a summer session help? I would get to talk with the professors.

If everything else is great then work on your SATs…you still have time

I guess ED wouldn’t hurt, but some places say that if you apply ED you can’t apply anywhere else early (even action) so that might be a factor (and I don’t know what Cornell’s policy is)…
