<p>Avoid the hotels near the Interstate, unless they are new. Remember that Thomasville, GA has some nice hotels.</p>
<p>If you want to start going to football games you must book far ahead and expect to pay double rates with a two-night minimum for the nicer locales.</p>
<p>Sometimes the Legislature is in session with legislators and lobbyists tying up virtually every hotel in the area for weeks.</p>
