<p>Taking the train in to Penn Station, Baltimore to visit MICA - looking for an inexpensive hotel close to the school - will not have a car. Suggestions?

<p>Goodschool - Have you asked MICA admissions for their suggestions? They sent us a list of places before our visit in Oct. We ended up staying at a B&B which we enjoyed. I think the 2 places closest to MICA have rooms for $99/night.</p>
<p>On our first visit, we stayed at the at the Abacrombie, a B&B within walking distance. It was fine, but a little pricier than we would have liked. We’ve also stayed a number of times at the Biltmore Suites, a very funky place (not quite Barton Fink but getting there) which suits us well but is not to everyone’s taste. It’s a bit more of a hike, and I can’t vouch for the neighborhoods in between – you might look into the light rail or a cab.</p>
