Can anyone suggest a hotel near Colgate?

Generally schools will have a list on their website.
If Colgate doesn’t, check Hamiltons.

Well you can always stay at the Colgate Inn - right in the center of town - about a mile from the campus. Are you going for an interview. I loved the school w

We stayed at the Colgate Inn, but it was years ago. I’m thinking there wasn’t much choice!

We stayed at the Colgate Inn as well, over summer 2012. As DocT said, it’s just about a half mile to the very near edge of campus campus and right in the center of town (granted, the town’s small), so it makes for a very pretty walk when the weather’s nice (or for a short drive when it’s not). Comfy rooms (with actual, physical keys!), friendly and helpful staff (from what we could tell–only stayed one night), and a terrific restaurant. Very positive experience for us.

I would first look at Wendt university Inn and The Colgate Inn for more traditional motels if you do not want a B&B. You can also check out places in Norwich, Utica , etc. But they will be further away.

Thank you ! Great information

And, if you have a child going to Colgate, places book out 2 years in advance for Commencement!
