<p>D will be staying in a dorm on the University of San Francisco campus for 4 weeks this summer; while attending a ballet summer intensive program. I am looking for a nice hotel near the campus. I plan to travel with D - staying overnight at the beginning and end of the program.</p>
<p>USF is located in a part of town where there are not many hotels, though there may be some bed & breakfasts’. In any case it doesn’t matter – public transportation in SF is great and easy to figure out, and the entire city is only 7 miles wide in any direction, with USF fairly centrally located – so basically wherever you stay won’t be that far. If you want to go for an economy (cheap) hotel – there are plenty on Lombard street; you will find nicer (pricier) hotels downtown or in the Fisherman’s wharf area.</p>
