Finished. Not sure what to think. We need a place to discuss it so we don’t spoil it for those still watching.
I think I have two episodes left. I agree with Marie1234 that so far it’s not quite as good as seasons 1&2. Something big must happen.
I liked him as a murderer. So disappointed so far…
Is this the final season?

I agree, too. But how can anyone not? it seems an obvious reference point for the writers. I’m not going to say who I think is Doug, but that also seems clear to those who are close watchers of this kind of drama, real and scripted.
FYI - The hacker needed a passport to get out of dodge and Doug was getting it for him in return for info on Rachel. Some of this bored me though and I found myself missing parts intentionally. YMMV.
They may have modeled his accent and broad affability on Clinton, but is Clinton really that crafty? Is anyone on earth as crafty and cold as Claire? Maybe she’s a female Henry Kissinger.
I just love her. Her whole body is involved in her character - her slimness, her little dresses and big shoes, that icy helmet hair, the way she calls him Francis instead of Frank. She’s a cold, cold, genius.
The plot is just too convoluted. I cannot remember why Rachel (Cassie) had to go away, something about the Congressman from Pennsylvania, can’t remember what he did. I cannot remember why or how Jackie came to be a protegee of Underwood.
And this season, first they want the Russians in, then they want the Russians out. Hopefully with next Season and the election the plot line will be better.
Rachel could link Frank to the murder/suicide of Peter Russo so Frank and Doug want her buried. She was the one who lured him to his room and got him alcohol or something. I always thought that Doug fell in love with her though.
Jackie was Frank’s pick to become Whip after he became VP. He got her that position and surely expects loyalty in return. She used to have a relationship with Remy, when he was working for that shadowy corporation, before he became Frank’s assistant. I think he still loves her.
That’s all from the older seasons. I’ve only watched the first 4 of Season 3.
Claire is wearing an outfit that makes her look dumpy!
