Housing and Dualing

If you applied for a quad (not the houses, the rooms) of some sort, are you assigned to which rooms you get in the quad? I noticed the rooms in the quads in Gregory are different sizes, and the highrises have 2 singles/1 double. Is it just whoever gets there first on move in day gets first pick?

On a side note, how difficult is it to dual degree in Wharton as a CAS student? What is the application process like?

dyx: Usually it’s first come first serve… there’s no real “assigning” process within rooms themselves.

As for dualing, the application process usually involves an interview as to why you want to transfer, and then they evaluate your GPA and get back to you (you also have to have the required courses needed for transfer). It’s difficult to dual because it doesn’t allow for easy overlap like Huntsman or M&T, so you’re looking at 6-7 classes per semester to fulfill everything. If you have work study on top of this you’re looking at having very limited amounts of free time. It’s all up to what you want though.
