i got this in an email. does this mean that my housing request is granted?

Dear _______

To meet UCLA Housing’s guarantee of providing on-campus
housing to all incoming freshmen and transfers who meet the
application and Student Intent to Register deadlines, we
offered most of our prospective new residents some type of
triple room accommodation, even though this may not be one
of their first choices.

However, this was the only option available for most of
those students wishing to live in on-campus housing.

The number of current residents who return to on-campus
housing also continues to increase. This situation has
resulted in an increased demand for on-campus housing for
the upcoming academic year.

As a result of this continued high demand, we were only able
to accommodate approximately 100 change of assignment
requests this summer. We are now at full capacity and do not
expect to be able to make any additional changes until the
winter quarter.

Recent On-campus Housing resident satisfaction surveys
indicate no statistical differences in self reported
satisfaction levels with the campus living experience
between students living in double or triple room
accommodations. As in the past, UCLA Housing and the Office
of Residential Life will continue to offer a wide array of
programs and support services to assist students with their
transition to UCLA.

In the event that you wish to cancel your contract, you will
need to email the Housing Assignment Office at
<a href=“UCLA Housing”>UCLA Housing.
The
Contract Cancellation Fee is $150. In order to avoid an
additional $150 Late Cancellation Fee, you must submit your
request by 5:00 p.m., July 31, 2007.

Sincerely,

Housing Services
