<p>For the housing contract roommate preferences, what is access ID and how do you get one?</p>
<p>Your access ID is the first part of your PSU e-mail. For example, if your e-mail is <a href=“mailto:abc1234@psu.edu”>abc1234@psu.edu</a> then your access ID would be abc1234. You don’t get an official access ID until FTCAP. I think you can add/change roommate selections up until it gets closer to the semester, so you’ll probably have one by then, but you may want to call housing and see if you can use something else (maybe your “Friend of Penn State” ID) until then.</p>

<p>It is…unless you have a valid medical excuse with a doc note. You would be really missing out on the experience that comes with sharing a room if you had a single.</p>
