Housing for Business Students

(If i am accepted in the next week or so) Where can I expect to be housed if i reply to my acceptance within the first week of getting the decision? As a business student.

-thanks :D

Business student doesn’t matter unless you are in CP scholars and choose one of the “business-oriented” programs. If you get into Honors or Gemstone, you’ll most likely be in Denton (Honors) or Ellicott (Gemstone). CIVICUS also has a living/learning community, but I don’t know any of the details of that. Otherwise, the odds are very likely that you will be in any of the other high-rise buildings that are primarily freshman (and soph) dorms. You don’t get a lot of choice in the matter, and the dorms are by no means luxurious. Most students are able to tolerate the situation quite well and the overall “friendliness” and having people around ALL THE TIME (except, maybe, at 11:00 p.m. on a Saturday night, where you’d have peace and quiet until about 2:00-4:00 a.m.!)…it makes it all part of the college “experience”. Maybe not more than one year’s worth before you find apt-type living quarters, but it’s good for freshman, to be able to meet the greatest # of people quickly. No matter where you live, there will be hard-core partiers, those who study all the time, and lots of people in the middle. You’ll befriend people in your classes (if you are so inclined), although the odds are that there will be other business majors where you live.
