I WILL BE TRANSFERRING TO PSU ALTOONA IN THE FALL 2015 AND I WILL BE STAYING AT NITTANY POINTE. I HAVE BEEN READING ALOT OF BAD REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE. ARE THEY ALL TRUE? IS THERE A BUILDING AT NITTANY POINTE WHERE THERE IS NOT MUCH PARTYING? NEED SOME HELP HERE!!

I don’t know much about the Altoona area (I’ve been down a few times to go to restaurants and things that aren’t in State College, but that’s it). I did a quick Google search and all of the reviews I have found on Nittany Pointe are quite positive. Students say it’s clean, the management staff are friendly, and they have nice amenities like a campus shuttle that leaves every 15 minutes and a fitness center. It does seem that the place is good for partying, though; a lot of the students cited that as a plus. One review said that they improved security so that the noise problem has gone down some, but that implies that it’s still there.
I think living in apartments that are primarily populated by undergraduate students kind of sets you up for being around some noisiness and partying. Perhaps you could look around for apartment complexes that don’t cater to students?
