<p>MikeW…we are from new england. sons unweighted gpa about a 3.2, weighted gpa: 7.2 on his 7.0 scale and 3.7 on the weighted 4.0 scale. SAT 1410 (not including writing)…the auburn scholarship webpage has the SAT/GPA cutoffs for each of the scholarships. with the heritage (2/3 oos tuition and fees) auburn is actually cheaper than any of our state schools. son did not look at alabama. the other southern schools my son considered…georgia tech and clemson. he wanted to attend a big southern school with a decent amount of students from oos. he just received his housing assignment and 3 of the 4 guys he will be rooming with are from oos.</p>
