D26 submitted her Auburn application on August 1 via the Auburn portal (not Common App). It is one of (if not her actual) top choices.
GPA- 4.0
ACT- 29
National Honor Society, Captain of varsity sport, consistent PT jobs, + volunteer hours…
Really hoping her 29 ACT does not keep her out of the running

Similar stats as coastal2024’s kid, but coming from Midwest. Worried we need over a 30 ACT as an OOS application

Applied as an exploratory major
It is the only school she wants to attend, hoping for an EA1 or EA2 acceptance🤞🏻

Hi, Hoping for practical advice on Common App. My daughter is hoping to apply EA but wants to retake the SAT one more time in Oct. I was hoping for advice on how we could submit EA application and send her test scores later. On Common App, do we put ‘0’ for scores we wish to report, and indicate the date for the future Oct. SAT sitting? Thank you!
Are you trying to submit by the September 15th deadline? Or October? I think they want the SAT scores when you send in the application to make a determination by the decision date. And then if waitlisted send in the updated higher scores. If you think her current scores won’t cut it then just wait to submit. This is just an opinion not sure if correct!

Auburn emailed us yesterday saying scores must be received from college board by Sept 15 to be considered in the first wave. We rushed our scores Friday but not sure if they will make it in time.

Thanks for your responses. Oct scores come out on 10/17 so she would just miss EA II (10/15 deadline), would be ok to submit app by 10/15, then send scores on 10/17 (could rush so might be received maybe 4 days or so after), or would we need to wait for EA III deadline and send app + all materials at the same time? Either way I figure scores arrive after app since their delivered separately from C. Board, but is there any advantage to submitting the app portion in EA II window? Also, how do you signal to Auburn that you are not going test optional but do not have scores to report within C. App; do you choose ‘0’ scores to report but list future Oct. test date? Thanks!
I do think you need to send in the scores well before the deadline to be considered in that round. Can she take the September SAT? Otherwise I think the October test scores need to be with the round 3 applications. You can always email her assigned admissions advisor too!

have you reached out to your regional admissions officer? They are all listed on the Auburn website. Ours was helpful with the couple of questions D26 had and responded within 24 hours.
it lists “mid-October.” So I am guessing before 2nd wave deadline? I’d assume some time around 10/15.

Hoping DD applies today through website. SAT rushed to Auburn over the weekend. Issue is attaining transcript to upload, which will hopefully be resolved today.
