<p>In order for someone to be in the Honors College, is it required that they live in the dorms? Also, I heard that all pre-professional students are housed in Sutherland. Does anyone know if this is true?</p>
<p>I know you don’t have to live in the dorms to be in the Honors College.</p>
<p>No you don’t. I’m an honors frosh this year and although I am living in the dorms I know some that are commuting. The honors kids who don’t live in honors housing don’t take part in the “honors community” as much because they aren’t around other honors kids 24/7. Secondly, pre-professional students live anywhere and everywhere. There are probably pre-med kids in every dorm and I only use pre-med as my example because its the largest pre-professional program on campus.</p>
