<p>The entire cover letter sounds incredibly Asian.</p>
<p>Well its NYU Stern, so chances are you are right.</p>

No “it’s” not. He wasn’t in Stern. He was a triple major in math, Econ and computer science and had a 3.9+ GPA.</p>
<p>This kid’s CL was posted ALL over Wall Street Oasis and it was forwarded to employees at banks all over. To be honest, I don’t get it. It obviously is a little comical, but I can guarantee you HR recruiters have seen much worse. It was terribly cruel of someone (perhaps a recruiter) to leak this. </p>

<p>It’s just a reminder to be careful about what you write. Don’t be such a braggart (and then say you’re not) and watch who you send this to. Did you notice this kid mentioned both JP Morgan AND Morgan Stanley in the letter? Major fail.</p>
<p>^People screw up company names on cover letters ALL the time.</p>
<p>The bench press and pull ups part was by far the worst/most funny part.</p>
