<p>Seems like we all scramble to secure any scholarships for graduating Seniors of High school. Any dollars available to younger high school students to put away till they need it for college??</p>
<p>Some scholarships can be applied for earlier, but many of them are the $500 to $1000 awards that are one-time awards. You are often competing with older students. Look at Fastweb or any of the other scholarship sites. It is a tough way to earn money.</p>
<p>$1000 sounds like a lot of money, but when you figure you need to win 240 of them to pay the full bill at, let’s say, Georgetown, it is a lot of work.</p>
<p>IMHO, the easiest money is found in scholarships awarded by the universities.</p>
