Ok…so how about football since it’s started.
I’ve never been able to say this before…but right now…the Cleveland Browns have a better record than the…Patriots!
Go Browns!
What is your team?

We don’t need the NFL in Alabama, we have the Crimson Tide.
My team is the Packers, and they aren’t doing very well.
Da Bears.
At this point, to me, football is pretty much like The Hunger Games. Like boxing.
Miami Dolphins lead the AFC East at 3-0! It’s a miracle!
DC United, Portland Timbers and Liverpool
My husband is a life-long Dolphins fan. I’m pretty much a fan of anyone playing the Patriots that week (which is the 'fins this week)!!
Still trying to figure out how you sack the QB and don’t land with your weight on top of him…
I grew up a Bills fan. Then lived outside of Green Bay for ten years and my blood turned green because folk live and breathe for the Pack.
Good thing I have to work with a football-despising client on Sunday ‘cause I wouldn’t know who to cheer for. And would be ignoring said client if he had the game on…,
Boycotting this year. I head I picked a good year to do so where my team is concerned…
Go Blue!
The NFL has kind of fallen off our radar since our kids went to college…love college football…especially the Clemson Tigers and Notre Dame Irish! And love watching College Game Day on Saturday mornings…some of the signs/college humor are hysterical…
Two BIG games this Saturday night! OSU vs. PSU (White Out night) and ND vs. Stanford. Unfortunately both are being played at the same time 4:30 PST. :((
Penn State’s White Out is one of the best college football game atmosphere’s in the country. I won’t say who I’m rooting for, but Go Irish and Go Lions!
And GO NINERS!
Newcastle United
I follow college football more - we’re an Auburn family - sorry Dixie. I don’t watch pro football, but I am following a former Auburn player I’ve always liked Kerryon Johnson - he’s with the Lions. I was very happy for him that he broke the 100 yard rushing slump.
Here’s my issue - go see an SEC game sometime. The pageantry, the band, yes the eagle flying around the stadium, the tailgating, the tremendous school spirit. There really is nothing quite like it. Then I see a pro game, and these players don’t really care about the team, there’s no band, there’s no one parachuting in the stadium. Every week is like the super bowl in the SEC.
Last year’s Iron Bowl - Auburn v Alabama - we were there at the game, most exciting thing ever, kids rushed the field, we screamed so much I was sick for a week afterwards. It gets too technical and boring for me in the nfl - plus I don’t even think their uniforms are as nice.
^ Well said, @eyemamom ! #12thMan
I love college football, but you’ll find the best talent in the NFL. Also, I think the OT rules in college are ridiculous and inflates the scoring stats. Other college rules, like once your down, even though no defender has touched you, you’re down. No getting back up and running.
I’m a SF 49ers fan, so we’re considered “wine and cheese” fans, but if you go to an Eagles, Giants, Raiders, Jets, etc. game, the fans in those stadiums are just as enthusiastic as a spectator at a college game, but for the rushing of the field, which isn’t allowed in the NFL.
What’s football?
Well, as a Vandy fan, we’re hanging on in the SEC by the skin of our teeth. But- GO DORES.
As for NFL, I’ve been an Eagles fan since birth and finally (well, since 1960 hey day) got my year this year. So- GO BIRDS. They play my hometown Tennessee Titans this week, but I have to go with the Eagles.
College football is where it’s at! Great games. Great players. Great fans.
