How accurate are tests 4-10 in the 2nd Ed. Blue Book?

Given that the scoring guide for the noted tests only provide a score range for corresponding raw scores, how accurate are the tests? I also ask because I felt that the type of questions asked in the first test of the group (test 4) were a lot different than those of the first three released tests in terms of overall difficulty and the way topics were tested.

I’d say they are overall harder than the first 3 tests. The passages are somewhat more difficult in most cases, especially in the last few tests. The level of vocabulary is the same, those questions are fine.

Even though they are made by College Board, they just don’t seem to be on the same level of difficulty as most administered tests. Take the 2010-2011 pretest and the first 3 tests in the blue book and compare them to tests 4-10 you will notice a difference. They are still quite accurate though; much more than PR, Barrons, Kaplan, etc.

I found test 10 to be the hardest of all the tests in the BB.

I agree with you guys. Whew. I just took test 4 about a week and a half ago, and I was thinking, ‘‘Is it just me, or is this SAT test one of the hardest SAT tests I have ever taken?’’. The worst part of that test for me was the last reading passage. I only got like three of those questions correct.
