I’m currently filling out the CSS profile and doing my best to make it accurate. However it’s impossible to get precise figures for somethings - food, clothing, household necessities, etc. So can I just estimate roughly how much? What needs to be absolutely accurate?
Oh, and answering the same question for Princeton’s financial aid form would be helpful as well. Thanks.
Be as accurate as you can be. That is all that matters. The figures that need to be the MOST accurate are your income, taxes, home equity, assets (actually assets need to BE accurate…so look those up online!).
I’m not sure the amount you spend on food and clothing impacts need based aid all that much.
In which section are the questions that ask about food, clothing, household necessities, etc.?
@MiddKid86 Parents’ Expenses. Although I think the questions vary depending on what you say initially when you register. I’m also an international student so that may have something to do with it.
