How accurate is mock ACT score?

<p>Hey I’m a sophomore and I just took the MOCK Act(a single 4 hour test) from Kaplan. I received a score of 30. I have had zero ACT preparation. <em>This wasn’t from a kaplan course, they just offer this test in the hopes that people will sign up with their courses AFTER this test</em>The most standardized test prep I’ve had is reviewing SAT math workbooks. So I was wondering if this score is accurate and if so it is possible/worth it to get it in 34-36 range?</p>

<p>I would say only trust the “Official” ACT test book. If you buy the Red book it has official practice test that are exactly the same as the real ACT so you know how well you will actually do.</p>

<p>It said I would get a 23…but I got a 31</p>
