How admissions looks at dual enrollment?

So I’m applying next year, 34 ACT 3.81 unweighted and I’ve taken 5 APs before my senior year. In my junior year I dual enrolled at a university nearby and got a 2.5 in a calc 3. Would admissions consider that to be a large blemish on my record or would they instead look at it for the fact that I took a college class my junior year of HS?

Ideally, college is looking for both rigors and good grades in the fields you’re applying to. So, if you plan to apply to STEM field, that 2.5 (out of 4, presumably) in calc 3 could potentially be quite problematic. But if you’re applying to a non-STEM field, then you’ll have less explanation to do with a 2.5 in calc.

If you’re trying to get at “Should I try to hide this Calc 3 grade or not” the answer is yes, you should try it hide it.

That said, it’s probably not that big a deal.
