how am i doing as a sophomore

<p>have been thinking about attending colleges in the east coast. I know it’s a little early to determine, but I would like to know if I’m on the right track.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.94 Unweighted
SAT : N/A taking it sometime in 2009 or late 2008
SAT Subject Tests:
Bio E/M : 740 (9th grade) but im going to retake it nov1
Rank: no idea </p>

<p>My school is a school with a competitive IB program and the school has sent 100-120 students to UCs and several have been accepted to Harvard, Columbia, Rice, Duke, Cornell, Stanford, Princeton (c/o 2008)</p>

  1. Photography: several of my photos had ended up in newspaper, one of my photos ended up on the front cover of LA Youth Newspaper
  2. Writing, 2 of my articles have ended up on TeenInk
  3. Ice Skating :smiley:
  4. Biology (really enjoy it)</p>

<p>Hmmm. I’d say you are on the right track…but make sure you have a common theme on your app. I’m guessing journalism and music? You look okay so far - not exactly exceptional, but not a total nobody either, lol. Just keep it up - and you still have 2 years, so that’s plenty of time. :smiley: Don’t over-do it on the extracurriculars though. It’s great to have all the local and state stuff, but it’s better to do a two or three things exceptionally well and advance them than to be in a million clubs.</p>
