How am I doing for these schools?

GPA: 3.73W/3.64UW
A-G GPA: 3.92W/3.75UW
SAT: 1890 (CR- 630, M- 610, W- 650)
SAT II’s: Haven’t taken yet but most likely 700’s in Literature and U.S History.
EC: An abundance of hobbies, have a job, community service in the key club, track, student council.

Schools looking to apply to: UCSB, SDSU, CSULB, LMU, Pepperdine

My main suggestion would be for you to improve your SAT score. Try cracking 2000 and you’re set (especially since you have an above average GPA).

Also, an abundance of activities seems promising. But make sure you elaborate better on your applications. :]

Yea, try to raise your SAT’s to 2000+ and your set.

alright thanks guys, lets say I am never able to crack 2000. Are these schools still matches?

Long Beach is a go. You’re competitive for UCSB and LMU, not slam dunks but good matches. The difficult one to gauge is SDSU. It has become more difficult to get in there because of a large number of apps. Not sure about Pepperdine.

Other that SB, yes. CSUs are giving preference to kids in their service area heavily now, so chances go way up if you live close. SB keeps getting harder and they are reducing in state numbers so it’s a reach but a realistic one.

UCSB, LMU, Pepperdine - Match/Can you elaborate on your ECs?

SDSU, CSULB - In.
