How am I doing?

I’m a sophomore and i just got my psat scores today- 194. How good is that? This was my first time taking it and I didn’t really study very much because I wasn’t aware we would be taking it this year.

Also, this is what I plan to have for extracurriculars by the beginning of next year:
-intramural basketball 10
-horseback riding 9, 10
-volunteer at therapeutic riding center 8, 10 (I was unable to in 9th grade)
-volunteer at local hospital 11
-job dog walking 8, 9, 10
-job at local petting zoo 10

Overall how am I looking in these areas? Are there any schools that might see this as enough- assuming I make the grades?vAlso, I don’t have a lot of time during the school year for extracurriculars, so I mostly do things in the summer. Any ideas on good-looking extracurriculars that I can do just on weekends during the school year? I am interested in nearly anything

A 192 is good. I’m not sure where you are looking, but assuming you want ivies/top schools you should aim to get a 2200 on the real test next year…

PSAT scores don’t matter. They’re just to “predict” how you’ll do on the actual SAT’s and aren’t even very accurate in some cases so I wouldn’t worry about that. I would suggest doing as much volunteer work as you can and sticking to your EC’s.
