How am I going to prepare for the ACT?

I’m a junior in hs. I am HORRIBLE at taking standardized tests. For my practice act last year I got a 15…
I get distracted by the stupidest stuff. I can’t focus. I am not good at following directions either… HELP!!!

First thing. Chill.
Secondly go through answers of each and every questions and figure out what wrong you are doing. If you are screwing up science then brush it up. And since you have a year more to practice I am sure your scores would improve

A good score will require knowledge not only the subjects being tested but also knowledge of the test itself, so make sure you are familiar with the test. You can do this by reading everything in your practice booklet that explains what the test is all about before the practice test.

Test taking skills are also important. One can read about strategies that people use for the ACT by using the Google feature in CC, but one’s test taking skills will only improve with practice in ideal test conditions.

I want a 24 on the ACT. Is it that hard to get a 24 on the ACT?

@anthany getting just 24 is not a big deal if you just practice a bit too then you can easily gain but gaining just 24 in 36 scale is not enough .

yeah you are correct.
