<p>With the huge medical complex right up the street I wonder if you have to listen to ambulance sirens and helicopters flying in at all hours of the night ?</p>
<p>I guess you get used to it but how often do you notice a siren or low flying helicopter - especially in the evening and at night ?</p>
<p>My college is right across the street from the Med Center and I rarely get woken up by helicopters and ambulances. And I’m a light sleeper. You hear them more during the day but they’re not very annoying.</p>
<p>I’m also in one of the closest colleges to the med center, and I have never once been bothered by the noise.</p>
<p>D enjoys the landing helicopters. The only noise she ever complained about was during the on campus South Plant construction directly across the road from her college, never from the medical center. I don’t visit very often but when I do I don’t even notice the sirens.</p>
