I would recommend taking the SAT again and getting that up. Pitt is very numbers driven, from what I have observed. A smaller school might take a closer look at your extracurriculars.

You’ve posted three ACT scores today - 24, 25 & 27. Which is your actual score?

I’m always very skeptical about the usefulness of “chance me” threads. Rather than rely on random opinions from random people, I think you should look up the admitted students profile for each school that you’re interested in and see how you compare. Many schools make this information readily available, and for those that don’t you can use College Board. On College Board you’ll also find the factors and their respective weights in the admission process for each school.

Just by looking at the information that you shared, I would guess that your best chances are with schools that give a lot of weight to extracurriculars and rigor of curriculum. This way you may be able to compensate for your rather weak GPA and test scores. Regardless of which schools you end up applying to, you should try to boost your GPA as much as you can during the 1st semester of your senior year. Also, rather than retake both the ACT and SAT, focus on the one that you feel you did better on and retake it–I would guess that’s the SAT since 1800 for the SAT is probably better than 25 for the ACT. Aim to improve your SAT score by at least 100-150 points. Good luck!
