Note; this is only so far. I’m sure I will achieve much more.

Umm, Wow.

And here I thought helping coach Summer Basketball was really good :(

While your list looks great and shows me you have one hell of a busy schedule and boundless opportunities, keep this in mind.

It’s all great in all to do everything. Remember, you have to have a life and most importantly, your life and the lessons you’ve learned by doing things in your life MUST show in your essays.

If they don’t show up in your essays, you could very easily lose to a person with half your qualifications.

Seriously, if your scores look like your EC’s and your essays show who you are as more than an overachiever, you’ll get in and make me feel like an idiot when you come on campus next year.

I will bear in mind that I may get lost in my EC’s. However, I feel my EC’s vary towards my charitable cause and economics passion.

Cheers,

And that’s great. Again, your passion is quite evident in your pursuit of your EC’s and the bountless opportunities that are given to you that you take advantage of (Again, I envy you in more ways that you can imagine  )

Just show the committee your passion and your inner personality. The essays and the interview isn’t a “Here’s what I’ve done” thing. It’s “Here’s why I do what I do and what it means to mean when I do it.”

Thanks alot for that. Do you think I could perhaps discuss how volunteering with charity etc. can effect the economy etc. And how they both relate?

I was wondering…

My extracurricular activities are all related to community service…

I am a volunteer of a organization and I build around 15 houses a year for extremely poor people, I teach poor children how to read and write and I raise money for the institution many times in a year.

Aparte from these, which ir the most important thing for me I’ve been the class president for 6 years and I’ve organized many activities raising more than 5000 and organizing a school trip to brazil.

well, what i wanted to say…my school apart from sports doesn’t offer more things to do… is this gonna matter? do colleges get tol know this?

and answering just a little of the question above… After i sart to work I’d like to give part of my job to the osciety, helping people with my knoledgement, if I’m a lawyer i want to defend poor peoplke for free and also work in another place to earn more money and give my family a great life and continue helping the families that I’ve been able to know by building their homes

Look, having EC’s in general is a great thing. Honestly, what you can give, show that you tried the best that you could in what you believed in.

As what you would like to do, that sounds great. Here’s a question to ponder as you write your essay: Why do you want to defend poor people for free? Why do you want to improve society? Why does it matter to you?
