Note; this is only so far. I’m sure I will achieve much more.

Looks pretty cool to me

my question is how are you able to keep all of these up? do you have any serious dedication to any of them because in order to do all that, it seems to me you’d be spending approximately 1 second at each. *assuming you sleep…

Did you really need to ask us?

If these are legit, you’ve got more than enough. One thing colleges dislike is a “laundry list” of ECs. In other words, they don’t want to see a bunch of things that you aren’t really dedicated to. However, many of what you listed seemed pretty serious. On the app, they only have you list 5-6 ECs. You can attach sheets elaborating if you want, but they really just want to see your top 5-6 ECs that you care the most about. So keep that in mind.

And you’re definitely in the ball park if your grades and board scores are good.

Terrible. Just terrible. You should be doing at least 3 times as much. But I’m sure you already knew that.

Three times as much!?

Try six.
The goal is to get lost trying to count all of them.

Yeah, basically, the only way to get in is to be not you so I’m sorry.

600+ hours of community service, eh?

I got in with one or two (although I think I played about that much in World of Warcraft before I went off to college - you’re pretty hardcore)

abcfox, you pathetic thing.

I counted the community service in with working at the charity shop and all the other stuff.

I don’t even know why you’d embarass yourself with such a pathetic resume

I see a lot of fluff in that resume although some of the areas are very strong. Focus on five activities which you devout your time to. For example “Conservative Party member” doesn’t say anything about your leadership, initiative or determination does it.? Rank each of your ECs on that list on these three qualities. After that choose the top five on that list. That will be more meaningful than a laundry list.

Its all about quality not quantity.

Yeah, I simply wrote down everything I could think of. I have to admit Party member is abit “so what” and of an average standard.

Better?

QUuuuuAADD DAMAGE

Well looks like you didn’t understand my message. For example,

Do you have any leadership activity in the Debating society or Discussion society? If not then drop it, you have better things to focus on.

As I said rank all of your ECs. Are you a leader/elected official in a certain activity? Did you start something new or worthwhile? Did you focus on the activity and devout ample time into it? Do you think it presents the image you want to convey to the admissions officials?

If you had to write up a resume you would need to condense everything into one side of one letter/A4 size paper. Which activities would you list in your resume? Whatever you select are the ECs you should talk about in your application.
