question in title

Hi.
I’m not sure but maybe this will help…

A while ago Wash U mailed me a Scholarship Info Sheet (I think thats what it was called) which was a one sided, manilla colored sheet. It asked some demographic info, senior classes, activities, SAT score etc

A couple weeks later I was mailed a letter that said I got a travel grant (airfare, cab fare, meals etc).

As far as qualifications…

I go to one of the “public elites” (a free residential math/science highschool, had to apply to get in, with an avg SAT of 1400+ for the M/CR sections) from my school I know of at least 2 other people who got the invite, with similar stats as me. From what I heard there were maybe 300 people given the travel grant?

I have a impressive senior year courseload (doing research, taking organic chem etc) and a SAT of over 2300 (2 800’s)

I did not actually go on that weekend (I had some conflict) so they flew me up for a different weekend. It was a great experience, my host was an awesome person. I definitely fell for their advertising; I’m applying ED

Hope that helps…

^^Same as me except I did go to discovery weekend, but am not applying ED…just not ready for such a jump!

But yeah, I’d really love to know how many people are chosen for the scholarship weekend.
