Those should be competitive at all those places. They care more about character than test scores. One you’re in a good range (700+ or so), you’re pretty much on equal terms as everyone else as far as scores go. You should consider an interview. I know MIT really pushes those…

what did you mean by ‘You should consider an interview’, can we request for an interview or did you mean if you get called for the interview … sorry for being a bit uninformed

they are not in the range like paul says. most people applying will have an 780+ for math II with most being 800

Would I be put at a disadvantage if people from my school (in the same class even) apply to the exact same schools with 800s?

Excellent scores for all colleges.

Except for Math 2 though

Retake it and try to score atleast a 750.

I think those are a little on the low side for HYPSM, just because of the caliber of those schools…
Getting >750 would make you a lot more competitive, imo. Of course, it also depends on how you did on the SAT Is, which matter more than the subject tests, methinks.

i saw on post once that 780 can get u into almost anywhere

780+ is definitely not required.

Anything above 700 is decent. 750+ is awesome. (except for Math IIC probably if ur going to engineering)

Right now ur scores are adequate… They won’t exactly help you but they won’t hurt you either.

Agree w/ Equilibrium, but the problem is that at places like HYPSM, nearly everyone is of that caliber, which is why I think that getting higher SAT II scores may be really helpful if the choice comes down to 2 applicants with similar stats otherwise.

They are certainly good scores, but they are not phenomenal at HYPSM.
