How are writing scores reported?

<p>If I take the ACT without writing then colleges will receive the averaged score of all four areas.</p>

<p>If I take the ACT with writing then colleges will receive the averaged score of all four areas plus an additional English score (that factors in the essay) and a writing subscore.</p>

<p>Regardless of what you get on the writing, you can write a 2 or a 12, your composite score will still be the same.</p>
